Everything is right in the old town, with Stralsund's World Heritage sights within walking distance and supermarkets close by. We spent a lovely weekend here for two nights. The 230-year-old listed house has been beautifully renovated, and each of its six rooms has its own decor, all done with real care. The owners are warm and easy to approach, and clearly care about their guests. For breakfast, the traditional bakery Mein Backhus is just about 50 meters away, with a good range of sweet and savory food. Thank you so much, we'd be happy to return.

I come back to Stralsund often from Berlin to look after my mother, and my last few stays elsewhere had left me disappointed. This time was such a different experience. I grew up in Stralsund, but had never stayed at this charming guesthouse in the old town before. It feels comfortable and authentic, with an old-fashioned character alongside modern touches, and I felt completely at home. The thoughtful furnishings and details make me want to come back. On a freezing November night, getting into a warm, cozy down comforter brought back lovely childhood memories. It felt comforting and in keeping with sustainability and nature.

We were on e-bikes and were glad to use the rental service. The owners were very friendly, and the rooms were great. The guesthouse is in a beautiful spot, very close to the Old Market Square.
