Hotel Restaurant Stegemann

The large bathroom was a real plus for me, with two sinks and a long counter in the double room, as well as both a bath and shower. The hose for the bath did leak a little. My room was roomy and cozy, though very warm when I arrived. Opening the windows didn’t cool it down, and I worried about insects, so the first night was a bit uncomfortable. The bed felt too soft to me, though that’s very personal, and the TV didn’t seem ideally placed for watching from bed. The restaurant is downstairs and rooms are on the second floor, reached by a spiral staircase that’s not easy to climb. Kitchen smells travel up there. There’s good parking, a snack machine in the rooms corridor, and a pool, though it was closed. The hotel is out in the countryside and the staff are friendly. In the morning, when I was trying to sleep a little longer before my afternoon work, people carrying things and talking and laughing beside my window woke me. It’s a decent business trip option, but bring something for mosquitoes.

A simple, nice hotel. The rooms are fine, and the bed was comfortable.

I’ve never stayed at a worse hotel.

It’s an okay hotel, though it’s a little out in the middle of nowhere.
