Dessert was a highlight: the apple fritter and nougat dumplings are listed as homemade, and they really taste that way. We also enjoyed a piping hot lunch of Munich-style sausages, roast pork with crackling, and mixed grill. The dining room feels like a cozy modern Bavarian living room, a 10/10 for us. We only came to eat, so we didn't see the hotel or its rooms. We booked a table for five at 11:30 the night before, and that went smoothly. Drinks came quickly, and the service was friendly, fast, and had that cozy Bavarian feel. They were out of onion roast beef, which was understandable for a Sunday lunchtime and didn't bother us. The winter menu is a little smaller, also understandable, and still has something for everyone. A very good visit, we'd happily come back.

The roast dishes were all delicious, especially the onion roast beef, gourmet skillet, and traditional roast pork with crackling. We enjoyed the side salad too, and the food was presented nicely. The restaurant felt cozy, and service was quick and very friendly. They handled our special requests without any trouble. Great lunch and excellent cooking, highly recommend! 👏🏻😊
