Our room was clean, a good size, and very nice, with its own entrance and a little terrace. We were greeted in a very friendly way when we arrived. Dinner started with an awkward moment: the chef stood behind the counter and welcomed us loudly, like at a fish market. The young waiter looked visibly uncomfortable, and it felt more like a village pub where everyone knows everyone than a hotel in the forest. Once the chef took our order and went back into the kitchen, the evening became nice. The service stayed friendly and courteous, and things were much more pleasant with the chef in his “territory.” Breakfast was plentiful, and a younger cook kept checking it and replenishing fresh food.

We came as a large group for the kale buffet and found it plentiful and very tasty. The service was attentive and efficient, and the location is a real plus. We’ll definitely come back.

We booked one night with 11 colleagues and didn’t expect much. The room was extremely noisy and had a persistent smell. The TV was high-pitched, the shower hose was broken, and the cleaning was inadequate. Breakfast was appalling. The quiet location and the friendly woman at reception were the only positives. I can’t recommend this hotel.
