Pension Waldblick

We're really unhappy with how this was handled. We'd booked the holiday home on the property, but couldn't use it because of an ant infestation. Nobody told us about it. The owners just assumed we'd stay anyway and didn't ask or let us know. We explained that this was a serious problem for us, and they moved us to a room that was much smaller and had no kitchen, breakfast, or dinner. There was basically no food, so now we have to work out how to get some. The room cost almost as much as the whole holiday home, and they offered no discount for all the trouble. I'm glad we didn't bring children; that would have made this even worse. We can't recommend the place. This is absolutely unacceptable.

We only stayed two nights, though it seems like somewhere you could happily spend a whole holiday. The room was tidy, and the welcome was warm. Breakfast the next morning was a lovely surprise, with plenty to choose from.

They were so helpful whenever we needed anything. The room was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, and breakfast had everything we wanted. Such a friendly place, thanks for having us.

Good value, lovely rooms, and a really welcoming family running this small guesthouse.
