We brought our dog and the hosts were very accommodating to guests with pets. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and both dinner at the restaurant and breakfast were excellent. It’s a quiet spot in Sankt Goar, right in front of the Loreley. A wonderful place to stay along the Rhine, highly recommended.

We stopped for lunch while travelling along the Rhine. The drinks were delicious, and we sat outside with a great river view. The waitress was friendly and helpful with our dietary needs, and there’s a cute little gift shop too.

The river views from the hotel are lovely, and it’s only a short walk to the river entrance. The tourist shops selling things like tea towels are about 15 minutes away on foot. Rooms are spacious and well kept, the staff are so friendly, and breakfast, wine, and dinner were fantastic. A perfect place to stay.

It’s an old-fashioned European hotel, not a Vegas-style place, and makes a good base for a night or two between Koblenz and Bingen, right on the river. The food was the best we found anywhere along the Rhein, with friendly service at a decent price. The railway, street, and river traffic can be noisy, though if you’re worn out from travelling all day, it might not bother you.
