The room was bright and clean, with a beautiful view of the Rhine and Katz Castle. We also loved the personal feel of staying in a small, independently owned historic hotel instead of a big chain. The gentleman who runs it was super friendly, and the customer service was 10/10. The ferry is only a few minutes away on foot, and it takes you across the river toward the famous Loreley lookout. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back.

Hotel Zum Goldenen Löwen makes a lovely base for a peaceful stay in picturesque St. Goar. The building has a graceful facade and traditional interior that's been well preserved, and you can feel its history and character. It still has all the modern comfort you need. A real historic gem, highly recommended.

Everyone was so attentive and careful about every detail. The food was delicious, and the location right by the river was perfect. It had such a romantic, peaceful feel. Best stay I've ever had, I loved it.

We stayed one night as a family. It's hard to beat the location for getting to Loreley and the castles. The staff were very nice and attentive, and breakfast was fresh. :)

Staying here felt like a dream. The views were breathtaking and the setting was surreal, like a storybook. The staff were incredibly accommodating and went beyond what I expected. What a wonderful experience!
