Hotel Rheinfels

The breakfast had plenty of choice, and everything we tried was delicious, including the scrambled eggs. Our room faced the river, and the small extra cost was absolutely worth it for that view when we woke up. The bed was the most comfortable we had on our whole trip, and the classic, elegant decor needs to be appreciated for what it is. We were travelling with bikes and were welcomed so warmly by the friendly, helpful staff. There’s a room for storing bikes, and you can charge E-Bikes. A great family hotel right on the Rhein, and an ideal stop on our trip. We’d highly recommend it, we really enjoyed staying here.

Breakfast was a highlight, with good coffee, lots of fresh fruit like mango, cherries, and pineapple, plus an Indian-style omelette. It’s a very nice place run by a friendly family. The beds were really comfortable, and there was a Smart TV and fast internet.

I had a great five-night stay in a Family Room with a balcony facing the Rhine at Hotel Rheinnfels. The room was really high quality, from the bed and furniture to the bathroom, and breakfast was very good. Anyone wanting to spend quality time in Sankt Goat should consider staying here.

The location is great and the room was clean. One of the two managers, who was originally from Germany, was exceptionally nice. A tip for future guests: when the hotel manager runs your card, choose euros, not US dollars. My credit card company would have given a better exchange rate, and I was charged $17 on top of the current rate. Also, if you don’t smoke and want your window open at night, ask for a room away from smokers. Their smoke gets sucked into your room.
