The owners were lovely and went out of their way to help. They can assist in French, Italian, Russian, English and German. For €49 a night, this was a great deal, especially when other places nearby were either closed or very expensive. If noise bothers you, ask for a room facing the forest. I wouldn’t stay in the village without a car, though, just saying :) The hotel itself is very decent for the price.

It's a quiet place, and the room was clean. There was no fridge, reception, food or breakfast option, and nowhere to shop within walking distance. On arrival you have to call the phone number posted on the door. The price was about 90 euros a night.

The motorway was an easy distance away, which worked well for our trip. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The chef also checked my dietary requirements twice.
