The location and atmosphere were good, and breakfast was nice, but the room let the stay down. The bed and awful mattress made for a poor night's sleep. They left the towels on the floor without changing them, and when I asked for fresh ones, I got no apology. The restaurant wasn't very good either, especially for the high prices.

We had a lovely weekend here with three friends. The place is modern, with friendly staff, free parking, and a sauna. The price felt affordable, and breakfast was a great buffet. Our room was basic but clean. It has a homey feel, and groups, families, and little ones are welcome at ‚Der Hirschen‘.

The service was very good, and the hotel felt both luxurious and friendly. It’s great value for money. With kids, darker curtains would help block the sun, and a playroom and nicer playground would make the stay better.

The single room was clean and comfortable for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was included and excellent, and both the bar and restaurant were good. Everyone was helpful. The main drawback was the road noise outside, with lots of loud heavy lorries and motorbikes. It was very warm during our stay, so we had to leave the window open, and there’s no air conditioning. If possible, I’d try to get a room at the back.

Dinner was a highlight: we tried local dishes, deer meat with blueberry sauce and pork cheek, and both were very good. Our second-floor room looked newly decorated and was clean, with a small balcony, though the shower was very small. The front desk staff were really friendly. Breakfast was included, and there’s a sauna, though we didn’t use it. Wifi was good in the restaurant but weaker in our room. All in all, I’d give them five stars.
