Gästehaus Palatinum

The wine tasting with Klaus Reinemuth was outstanding, and his stories had us laughing so much that the wine seemed a bit watered down by our tears. 😂😂 We got a friendly welcome, and the rooms were modern, great, and very clean. Breakfast was exceptional, with super-friendly women in the breakfast kitchen and doing room service. There's also a great resource-saving idea: you can choose a piccolo instead of room cleaning. We'll be back!

Breakfast had everything we needed, and things were replenished right away without us having to ask. They clearly use environmentally friendly cleaning methods, and the value for money was excellent. We were welcomed warmly, and our room was very spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and plenty of storage.

St. Martin is a cozy wine-growing town, though it gets a little busier on weekends. We had a relaxing week at Haus Palatinum, and can't think of any real downsides to the holiday. The nightly price now seems more than fair for the service. We stayed from the end of August to the beginning of September 2023, and wouldn't have wanted to miss our time in this picturesque town in the Palatinate. Haus Palatinum belongs to the Ziegler winery, a traditional family business. It's a quiet, clean place with a delicious breakfast buffet, especially suited to people interested in wine. From here it's easy to plan hikes and excursions, and we recommend the regular, inexpensive tours of the Ziegler winery if you're interested. Thanks to the Ziegler family and their team for such a restful stay. We plan to come back, perhaps during almond blossom season.

Breakfast out on the terrace was lovely, and my room was great, clean, and had a lovely view. I was only there one night, but had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I'm absolutely thrilled, thank you! I'll definitely come back. 🙏😍☀️
