Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh, delicious rolls and the usual German buffet, plus eggs and bacon cooked to order. They even made my bacon crispy to suit my American taste, and were happy to do it. We had a wonderful two-night stay. The hotel was quiet, with a lovely atmosphere, and just a short walk from the town square and its sister restaurant. Our room had a lot of character, including a trumpet lamp on the wall and old wood worked into the design. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern, and there was plenty of parking. I have so many good things to say about this place, and can't wait to return.

The town is just a short walk away, and we'd definitely stay here again. We arrived a little early, but checking in wasn't a problem. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Our room in the main building was lovely and quiet, and breakfast in the next building was plentiful and very nice. Just keep in mind that reception is staffed only until 18 hours.

The garden terrace was a great spot for the fantastic breakfast buffet, and beer from the honesty bar was just €1.50. The hotel looks a bit quirky from the outside, but the welcome and quality throughout were outstanding. Great interior design, a brilliant shower and bathroom, and it's motorbike friendly. Definitely adding it to the tour agenda for next time. What's not to like?!
