Hotel Restaurant Spinnerhof

The staff were helpful and accommodating the whole time, and the food was great. Breakfast was amazing each day, with plenty of meats and good bread. The beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean. There weren’t extra towels available, but they offered a bathrobe as a good alternative. The setting is gorgeous, with views that make the area look like a fairytale painting. There’s a sweet little church on site, a trail out back, and therapy mules nearby.

All my emails were answered quickly and clearly, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I stayed three nights while visiting Sasbachwalden's gluten free Christmas market, and had dinner at the restaurant, where they were able to cater for my coeliac diet. Breakfast had a good range, including gluten free products. I recommend asking or emailing ahead so they have time to restock those. The room was spacious, lovely, and extremely clean, with a balcony overlooking the valley. A really beautiful place to stay.

The view from our room was gorgeous, and the staff paid close attention to every request or concern. We had a wonderful long weekend at Spinnerhof. The rooms were clean and modern, and the restaurant had a quiet, comfortable feel. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet with lots of variety.

My friends and I had such a lovely time at the restaurant. Brandon’s service was especially impeccable, and the food was a real pleasure, with very fair prices. I can’t recommend the place enough, it won’t disappoint!
