We came in late August with two babies, and there were baby cots for them. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the garden was lovely. The rooms and the view were amazing, breakfast was great, and the owners were really nice and friendly. Thank you so much, we won't forget you. It's a romantic place to stay, about a 10-minute drive from a small shopping center and some quiet pubs and restaurants. Just be ready for a mountain drive to get there, and I'd recommend traveling in daylight. Keeping the noise down helps everyone enjoy the place.

Our south-facing room had a balcony, so we could sit out and enjoy the lovely views and hours of sunshine. The Pension is backed by forest, with a breathtaking outlook over the valley. Breakfast was outstanding, with fresh coffee, hot rolls, eggs, cheeses, and ham. There's a fully equipped communal kitchen too, and several restaurants within 2 km offer takeaway. Flammkuchen and Black Forest gateaux are worth trying. You can taste local wine, and the village has a lovely heated outdoor pool that's free with the tourist card. Local buses are free with it as well. The hosts were very accommodating, and the Pension welcomes pets.

Even with the language barrier, you can feel how welcome the owners make you. They're very nice people, and it's a lovely place to stay.
