The hotel is right in the middle of town, and just a short walk from the beach. I was very happy with my spontaneous overnight stay at the Rűgen Hotel. The room was meticulous and comfortable, the bathroom modern, and the service very friendly. The price was great and included a very generous, large buffet breakfast. Highly recommend.

From the Cafe on the top floor, the views are beautiful. The hotel is in a very central spot, so you can walk anywhere, and there's great service all around. You can reach the port via a stunning Seebrücke.

We could use the pool and spa at one of the partner hotels while ours were closed for renovations, and that worked out fine. Our own hotel had scaffolding all around it, with workers passing outside the balcony. The rooms were neat and the hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We spent a whole week here and found it quiet and relaxed, with a handy location near Jasmund National Park and the pier's restaurants. Parking was free, and the breakfast had lots of tasty choices, including vegetarian options, though vegans had less to choose from. The view from our room was of the city rather than the beach, but it was still nice. The room had everything we needed to clean ourselves. The hotel is old, but very clean and everything worked well.

Our window looked out onto a view we really enjoyed. The hotel itself was clean and quiet, and being right by the sea with a bus stop nearby made the location perfect.
