We stayed three nights during Oktoberfest, eight of us in a group. We were also hoping to visit Königssee and Tegernsee, so this worked out well as a place near Munich if you're driving. Booking directly through the hotel's website was much cheaper than using other booking platforms. Check-in went smoothly, the rooms were spacious and clean, and there was decent parking. Breakfast had fruit, scrambled and boiled eggs, breads, and pastries each day, with good options for vegetarians and people who eat eggs. The bread was especially good, and we enjoyed breakfast. We'd happily come back, though the WiFi dropped out a lot and could use improvement. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The place has a playground and some animals, so it works well for families. I was there for a company event, with a small lunch of typical Bavarian finger foods followed by a tasty dinner buffet. The food was amazing, and the meat was cooked really well.

We’ve only visited once, so I can’t tell whether the service was a one-off, but we had to work quite hard to get the waiters to come to our table. I got the impression that was because we were seated at the farthest table. The restaurant itself feels like a hidden gem, and the playground was great with our small children since we could keep an eye on them while having good food and beer at the table.

The hotel is friendly, clean, and rustic, and they take a lot of care with it. Breakfast was generous, and the setting was so pleasant that I felt the price was worth it, even though it is on the expensive side. They have excellent facilities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you only need a bed and aren't interested in atmosphere, another hotel may suit you better. But if you want a cozy place that gets you in the mood for a mountain holiday, this is a good choice. I've been told the high-end rooms are fantastic and contemporary.
