A lovely place to get away from the busy everyday routine and rest among the greenery. The staff were friendly and professional, and our spacious room had been recently renovated. The food was great too, and the spa area was really nice. We’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast buffet had a wide choice of food, and the family room was spacious and clean, with great beds. We stayed with our three children, aged 16, 14 and 12. The room was on the second floor and had two separate rooms with a door between them. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard over the past few years and is nearing completion. We rented brand new electric mountain bikes from the hotel and rode part of the Blockline MTB route. Our 12-year-old daughter managed 50 KM and more than 1000 m of elevation on one trip. The route goes through forests, hills, villages and grasslands, with great views. There’s a children’s play area and a volleyball court at the hotel. Ask reception for a volleyball. There’s also a midgetgolf area.

Getting there meant driving on some poor roads, which was the only downside. The hotel itself was lovely, with very friendly staff. I arrived late, but reception was still open. My room was large and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent.

Fresh local ingredients made for excellent food, and the service and surroundings were great. I highly recommend it.

The furniture is a bit dated, though everything was clean. The breakfast buffet was great.
