The hotel is in a very good location, and the room was pleasant and very spacious. We had to carry our heavy overseas luggage up and down several staircases to reach a sousterrain room, so an elevator would be nice. Later we realized the car was parked close to our room, and it was easy to pass the luggage through the window. A lamp by the second bed and the writing desk would also be useful.

A nice hotel with a great breakfast and friendly staff, though the neighbourhood feels lifeless.

We stayed one night at the Schwanenhof on our way to Denmark. The room felt a bit dated, but it was very well maintained and clean. The bathroom was very, very small. Breakfast was excellent, with a truly extensive selection, nicely presented even though we were the only guests. Reception is only staffed for arrivals. We got there a little too early and had to wait in the car because the entrance call button wasn’t working, or the call forwarding wasn’t activated. For dinner, we went to the Thai restaurant at the beginning of the street. Highly recommended.
