We got an apartment for the price of a regular room because the place was full, and it was amazing for what we paid. The food was very good, and the apartment was clean with a good atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring the area and seeing lots of things. Prices are average to low, while the quality is above that. I'd definitely come back.

In mid-November, I had brunch on the patio beside the town's beautiful Maypole, with Oberammergau ahead of me for a course. The setting was so picturesque. I had schnitzel and spatzle with a beer, and lunch cost about 11 euros. The food was excellent, the service fantastic, and the staff treated me very nicely despite my weak Deutsche. Inside, the restaurant felt warm and cozy and smelled of baked bread, which is always a plus. I visited in autumn during the quiet season, in the morning. I'll definitely be back.
