The location is right in the city centre, and the service was fine. My room was clean, though awful, and the Wi-Fi was poor. I was greeted by the smell of fries cooked in used oil.

Breakfast is served at the hotel's restaurant, Inselperle, with a lovely view over the market square and old town. The Hotel Stadt Spremberg sits right on the market square on Spremberg's Spree Island, and the welcome and service are very friendly.

I get lunch here every day, and it never disappoints. For a small price, the meal is delicious, fresh and clearly made with care. The waitresses and kitchen staff are fantastic, and they'll even handle requests like leaving out onions. When it's warm, the beer garden is a lovely place to sit under the palm trees, eat well and unwind. Great food and service, highly recommended!
