Hotel Gut Schwaige

The staff were amazing, and you could tell they communicated well with each other and with guests. When my son got sick on the third day, the owner quickly gave us the number for his family's pediatrician, who checked our little one. He followed up afterward and said to let him know if we needed anything, like a heating pad. The staff also checked on us, which was lovely and made my son happy. The owner was friendly when we arrived and suggested places to eat that turned out well. We also found the river Isar, where you can swim, and my toddler enjoyed it. If I could give this Hotel more stars, I would. I'm excited to come back with my older kids.

Every day we had a clean room and bedding, and the breakfasts were lovely. The owners also shared tips for exploring the area. When we arrived, they helped with our luggage and found a safe place for our bicycles. The hotel owner and his wife made our family of three feel welcome, and they even played football in the hallway with our little boy while we got settled. We loved staying here and will definitely visit again. Highly recommend this lovely hotel and its friendly owners.

The location worked really well for us, with an S-bahn station close by and no train noise. The supermarket next door was handy, and the hotel is well placed for Munich, the Alps, lakes, and intriguing castles. The owner was happy to suggest scenic roads, places to visit, and lunch or dinner spots. Everyone was welcoming and helped create a relaxed atmosphere. Our room and bathroom were both large and very clean. It was quiet too, with stone stairs instead of squeaky wooden ones. Breakfast was great, especially the eggs made fresh just how you like them, boiled, fried, or scrambled. We had a great stay at Hotel Gut Schwaige and would choose it again if we're back in the area. Thanks for a great holiday!

We arrived unexpectedly in the middle of the night, and the friendly English-speaking staff handled it well. The rooms and bathrooms were both very clean. We left early, so we didn't get to try breakfast, but based on the rest of the service, I'm sure it must be delicious.
