The rooms were large, quiet, and comfortable. Our hostess was warm and helpful, even making a reservation for us at a local restaurant. She also told us about the Brothers Grimm collecting some of their stories in this area.

Dinner was amazing, local, and good quality. I’m really glad I stayed here instead of choosing a hotel in Kassel. A local pointed me to this village hotel, and the experience was a very pleasant surprise. It’s comfortable, very well priced, and gives you a great local experience. Don’t think twice.

The breakfast was tasty, the rooms were great, and the people were friendly. It doesn’t have the newest design, but it makes up for that with a very German atmosphere.

The hostess was an absolute angel and so helpful. Our room was really large for a standard hotel room, which was nice, but the bed was too small and very hard.

I felt safe and comfortable there. The bed was very comfy, the room had an ensuite bathroom, and breakfast was exceptional.
