I played here while passing through Bavaria and came away happy with both the course and the experience. The layout and rolling terrain were enjoyable, and the pro shop staff were welcoming and helpful. On holes 3 and 6, you'll want a bit of course knowledge if you're trying to drive the corner.

We had a great time on this pretty 9-hole course, and the café next door is a nice place to sit afterward. The hills didn't bother me. Given that this is the Allgäu region, especially compared with other nearby courses, I don't understand the earlier reviews calling it too hilly.

Every hole feels different, and longer hitters can reach the green under regulation on a few of them. The setting is lovely, and the clubhouse is welcoming and well equipped. It's a great little nine-hole course, though there's quite a bit of hilliness.

Hole 4 is a real test. The nine-hole course was in good condition, and the slopes were manageable. Staff at the pro shop were very friendly.

The course was well maintained and close to my hotel, but 50 euros for nine holes feels steep. Guests at nearby hotels don't get the 20% discount, which is a pity. Reception was fine, though nothing special. With the discount, I paid just 16 euros more to play the 18-hole course at Oberstaufen-Steibis.
