The staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The hotel sits at the end of Schrieke, so it's a really quiet spot. You can walk to the Bahnhof in about 30 minutes, or head up to the top of Brocken. A lovely place, recommended.

Pleasant people and good meals. The location is very good too, with a nice view when the clouds clear.

We didn't stay, but came away with a good impression. The people were kind, and the coffee was tasty.

The room was spacious, and the service was really friendly. Being at the foot of the Brocken also makes this a great place to begin the climb. We understood what other reviewers meant about the "bathroom". We're slim, so it caused us no trouble. It could use some improvement, though it was enough for us.

Breakfast had everything we could want, and it was all very tasty. We stayed from December 6th to 7th, 2025, and would happily return. It's a very nice, peaceful hotel.
