You can set off on hikes right from this fantastic holiday apartment, and there’s a lovely garden with playground equipment. It has everything you need, and the landlords are very friendly and helpful. We’d be happy to come back.

We were there January 2nd to 5th, 2020 with our 13-month-old son, and had a wonderful stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly, and readily provided what we needed, including a highchair and crib. They also arranged fresh bread rolls for us without any trouble. I highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back.

Haus Walpurga is in a beautiful, quiet spot and makes a good base for tours around the Harz Mountains. We had a relaxing holiday in Schierke, with a clean, well-equipped apartment that suited our needs. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Everything was lovely, highly recommended! 👍

Haus Walpurga was clean and comfortable, and we had a wonderful time there. My wife, my son, his wife, and I did lots of hiking, including up the Brocken, with beautiful weather. There’s something for children as well, including a swing and ping-pong table. We’ve already booked again for next year, and would definitely recommend the place. Simply fantastic!
