Aparthotel Flughafen Leipzig

We stayed in rooms 11 and 13 for one night during a trade event, and the rooms were huge, with very high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a sitting area, and a small kitchenette with a mini fridge. Each was clean and individually decorated. The double box-spring beds were very comfortable, and the flat-screen TVs were the biggest I’ve seen at this price. There’s a Nespresso machine and a separate tea machine in each room, plus a large clean bathroom with a rain shower. Staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Dogs seem to be allowed. Breakfast was simple, good, and filling enough, though a boiled egg would’ve been a nice extra. The main drawbacks are the location, which isn’t central and can be hard to reach without a car, and occasional aircraft noise from the nearby airport. It’s not very busy, but I heard a very loud plane around 7am. Still, I’d highly recommend the hotel. Prices are decent.

Breakfast is served with yogurt, ham, cheese, bread, and butter. This is a stylish aparthotel by the road, with self check-in. Just be aware that plane noise could make sleeping difficult if you’re sensitive to it.

The interior is beautifully done and it’s a very nice place. Free drinks are in the refrigerator. There isn’t a restaurant, supermarket, gas station, or anything else nearby, though, so for food you’ll need to drive 5-10 minutes or order pizza.

After two days of travel, I checked in at 1200 and found there was no hot water for the shower and no heating. I sent 3 E-mails and made 10 phone calls before I finally reached someone. They said they’d send somebody to fix it, but that person showed up only 10min before I left, about 7 hours later. They’d only been told 30min before arriving at the hotel. I’d give it 0/5 if I could.
