The location takes a bit of planning: having a car is pretty much necessary to get around. For Leipzig, we drove about 12 minutes to Messe P+R, parked for free, then took the S-bahn or tram into the city centre. Those ran every 10-15 minutes, and the ride was around 15 minutes. The nearby airport means you can hear planes until around midnight with the window open, though it wasn't loud, and with the windows shut we couldn't hear them. It was quiet enough to sleep with the window open. The kids had play areas, including a room with toys and games, and there was a gym plus a great sauna included in the stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there was indoor and outdoor parking. Everything was clean and neat. Our room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was good, and the bar and restaurant were open for dinner. I've stayed at plenty of Ibis motels and hotels, and this one stood out enough that I wanted to review it. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

We had a family room with a separate area for the kids, so there was enough room for all four of us. We also tried the sauna once; the hotel has a gym too, though we didn't use it. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were tasty, and the breakfast buffet stayed well stocked. Check-in was quick, and the receptionist gave us a helpful introduction, offered the kids some magazines, and showed us where to find free parking nearby. We had a couple of minor snags with service requests, but the hotel contacted us after our stay to address them. We spent a weekend at Ibis Styles Leipzig and enjoyed it a lot. We'd gladly return when we're in Leipzig again.

The hotel is in a peaceful, quiet area, and the staff were nice. The breakfast choice is on par with Novotels. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the saunas were very well maintained. I'd recommend it and expect to stop here again myself.

I stayed overnight while driving from Munich to Berlin. It's conveniently close to the autobahn, and even though I arrived close to midnight, reception was open. Parking is available in the underground garage or across the street. The service was nice and the room clean. There's a small fitness room with fairly new equipment, and they left one complimentary bottle of water in the room. I enjoyed the stay.
