Ferienhaus im Grünen Eifel

The road location makes it quite noisy, particularly when motorcycles and trucks go by. The grounds are gated, and there's plenty for children, including foosball and table tennis. Cleanliness seems fine at first, but looks less so on closer inspection. The bathrooms are very outdated. They do seem to be trying hard to do a good job, and the place is quite alright overall.

For the price, the house was fine, with plenty of room and everything clean. One bedroom is a walk-through room, which I hadn't noticed in the description. The landlady was very nice on the phone, but the woman who gave us the keys at the start and end of the stay was very rude, almost cheeky. The ping-pong table in the garage wasn't fully usable because there wasn't enough space, and the foosball table was barely usable because of its condition.

The nearby hiking trail was the only real plus. Otherwise, it was just okay. There were flies everywhere, and the polyester pillows and bed linens were very uncomfortable. The bed was hard, and road traffic made a lot of noise in the room. The taps were old.

We had a family group of 10 at Ferienhaus im Grünen Eifel over Christmas, and the house turned out even better than we expected. The bedrooms are roomy, the living room is cozy and well set up, and the dining room and kitchen work really well. It has all the comforts we needed, and the arrangements we made beforehand were followed through. The beds are firm, though you get used to them. A good choice for groups of up to 11.
