It was nice, and we liked the restaurant. We also tried the wellness facilities, which were okay, though three hours was enough for us and we didn't return the next day. The full body massage was actually a relaxing massage. One thing that could be improved: everything is written in German. For a four-star hotel so close to Denmark, information should definitely be available in German, English and Danish.

The staff made us feel welcome from the start. Everyone was kind, attentive, ready to help with requests and always smiling. Breakfast was splendid, with a huge choice of fresh, high-quality ingredients, really Michelin-star quality. I'm going to miss it! We also loved the Garden SPA. We went after 17h during the quiet time for adults only, and it was peaceful and relaxing. There are several kinds of sauna, so there's something for everyone. I especially liked the biosauna since I'm not a fan of the Finnish one. The room was the one disappointing part. We booked a superior SPA room, but it didn't feel superior. It smelled bad and had old, thick carpets. It wasn't very clean: dust and cobwebs on the bedside lamps, several smashed dead mosquitoes on the ceiling above the bed, and a sticky bathroom floor. The coffee machine had no water for making tea or coffee. The pillows were paper thin and gave no neck support, so we slept badly the first night. We asked reception for extra pillows and they brought them promptly. Even with that room, we'd like to return for all the other lovely things we experienced, and would try a different room category next time. I do recommend the hotel.

The location is pretty, though a bit out of the way. The bar had a nice atmosphere, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were lovely and friendly. The hotel and our room were very clean, and the room had everything we needed. The Velux window didn't suit us, though, and made the room feel cramped and claustrophobic.

The beds were comfortable, which matters most, and the hotel team were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, with a big selection for everyone. The spa and pool were comfortable and clean, with several different saunas. It's a very nice spot surrounded by beautiful woods, a peaceful way to get out into nature and relax. Highly recommend.

The attention to detail really makes this hotel. Staff were polite, everything was clean, and both dinner and breakfast were very good. I enjoyed my stay.
