Ferienwohnung Glaserhäusl Seeblick

The price feels completely out of line with what you get. We paid over €180 for a night, yet the cleanliness was only okay, and the apartment felt stuffy and small. Leaving the windows open meant hearing the church bells and train signal. The shutters wouldn't close on all but one window. The location is a real plus: right in the center of Schliersee, with an Edeka, bakery, butcher, restaurants, and lido just a few minutes away on foot. Check-in and checkout were automated and worked fine, and parking is right outside. The building is old, though some parts are well maintained; inside, the apartment is dated and furnished with cheap dark brown and beige plastic. The dark brown plastic bed was awful, the mattress very soft and worn, and the pillows and duvet had old plastic filling. Everything smelled musty. The balcony furniture was old too, and its cushions were stained. The kitchenette wasn't appealing, and there wasn't a single wine glass, only dark blue decorative goblets. As for the “dream view,” the apartment is on the first floor and looks in the direction of the island, but most of what you see is the roof of the building across from it. The other windows face the church and cemetery without anything blocking the view.
