The owners' kindness made my two-week stay a wonderful experience. The apartments were clean and well equipped, and breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries. Thanks for a great stay!

The only downside of writing this review is that the price might go up before my next stay. I was here in June 2024, hiking during the day, taking trips to Munchen at night, and enjoying a beer on the balcony in the evenings. The lake is about a 30-minute walk away. It's a wonderful place.

The breakfast was outstanding, and we were welcomed with a warmth you don't often find. The rooms were clean and looked after, perfectly comfortable for a guesthouse. I've stayed in four-star hotels that were worse. Slyrs, Schliersee, Spitzingsee, Austria, and Wendelstein are all close by. We highly recommend it.

We'd gladly come back to Gritscher Guesthouse. The hosts were kind and very accommodating, and everything was spotless and appealing. Our room and shower bathroom were spacious, with modern furnishings, plus a little cooking area, fridge, and sink. It's on a quiet street in Josefsthal, a district of Schliersee, and the breakfast buffet has fresh treats from the guesthouse's own bakery for all tastes.
