The lake is about 1.2 km away, which felt quite manageable. The apartment isn't right on the water, but it's central and peaceful. It's beautifully furnished and worked well for two families with a child.

The apartment is in a handy spot in Schliersee, with a private parking space. Though there's another apartment upstairs, we barely noticed it. The conservatory dining area, with its mountain view, was the standout for us. The rooms are tastefully furnished and practical, with plenty of space for our family of four. You can see a lot of thought went into the decor. The kitchen is spacious for a holiday rental and well equipped, including a freezer. For cooking bigger meals, though, there might not be enough large pots, pans, and knives. It worked fine for us. The only real downside is the tiny bathroom, but it was clean, had a new sink and good counter space. At least one bedroom has its own sink, a bit retro but useful. There's no washing machine. Service was excellent: when the coffee machine broke, it was replaced in under 12 hours. A local baker can deliver rolls to the apartment, or you can reserve breakfast at the nearby Karma Hotel. Restaurants, cafés, beer gardens, a supermarket, discount store, bakery, butcher, ATM, and pharmacy are all within walking distance. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

That mountain view is fantastic, and the conservatory and terrace are lovely. The only downside for us was the very small bathroom.
