The food was excellent, with generous portions, and service stayed quick and attentive throughout our team event. We hadn't booked, but the waiter kindly arranged tables for us anyway. We were lucky, so do reserve ahead. They even took lovely photos of us on a busy evening. I'd recommend the place for work gatherings or private events.

Once the day visitors and children have gone, the quiet and the mountain views really take over. We keep coming back to this lovely place, even though I almost want to keep it to myself. The people who work here are so lovely and deserve all the kind guests they can welcome. It's perched high up, reached by cable car or on foot, and just a short train ride from Munich. There's a generous breakfast, a delicious menu, rooms decorated in an authentic style, and down-to-earth staff. There's also lots for children to do.

The walk up is fairly short but steep, and the view makes it worthwhile. Great food, quick service, and a nice atmosphere. You can pay by card.

We spent a fantastic week there for my birthday with friends and family. The staff were great all around, and everyone loved the food, especially the Bavarian BBQ at my birthday party.

Even with rain, the cable car keeps running, though the mountain toboggan closes in wet weather. We came as a group and enjoyed the Flammkuchen and Weißbier. The view of Schliersee and the forest below is absolutely breathtaking. A lovely place to take in nature.
