We spent a few nights here and found the place very cozy. The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good. Schluchsee is also a convenient base for visiting the Black Forest.

Lunch was really good. We enjoyed the steak, stroganoff, and goulash, and the staff were kind and helpful. Ordering from a German menu was a challenge for our group, since we had limited German or none at all.

The room was simple but very comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Lovely scenery and location, and a quaint village.

The evening meal and breakfast were both good, and the place was very clean. The room was very basic for what felt like an overpriced stay, though, and the beds were too short for me at 1.90 m. Still, a pleasant stay.
