Gerwenshof

The apartment was spotless and set up just right for us. We’ve now spent our New Year’s holiday at Gerwenshof twice with our two toddlers, and the atmosphere on the farm feels personal and relaxed. There’s plenty to do both on the farm and nearby, with great activities and a willingness to make things possible, like a visit from Grandma and Grandpa on New Year’s Eve. We’ll definitely come again.

Please teach children to be considerate of the facilities, and especially the animals, if you visit Gerwenshof. They’re living beings, not stuffed toys, and can’t tell us when they’re uncomfortable with people crowding, bumping, or hitting them with a car. It would also help if families gave each other some consideration, so parents of very young kids can relax while those with almost-grown children get to sleep in a bit. We’ve been to Gerwenshof in Niedersorpe more times than I can count. The place and the lovely people there feel like a second home and part of our family, and we wholeheartedly recommend the farm. Every visit means so much to us, and each goodbye is harder than the one before. Warmest wishes from Niederzier to Niedersorpe 🥰

You feel welcome right away at this charming farm. It’s lovingly laid out and meticulously cared for, with a lovely rural feel. The many animals really bring the place to life and are a treat for adults as well as children. Highly recommended if you enjoy nature and genuine farm life.

We had a wonderful week here. My girls absolutely loved the playgrounds, and the apartments had everything we needed. They’re very well equipped, with a great selection of board games too.
