We had the best sleep we’ve had in a while, thanks to firm mattresses and soft pillows. The rooms were well aired and extremely clean. The hosts were discreet but easy to find whenever needed. Breakfast was included, very good, and served without fuss. The area is quiet and beautiful. The place and host exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommended, and we’ll definitely return.

Heike was a friendly, helpful host, and the coffee was great. The guesthouse is beautifully set in the mountains, with a bubbling river across the street. A quaint village with a few restaurants is just 1 km down the road. It has all the essentials for a visit to the Sauerland.

We had to leave before breakfast, but they arranged an early breakfast for us anyway. The guesthouse was very nice and the service fantastic. The town is pretty, surrounded by forest, and great for hiking, with a couple of nice restaurants nearby.

We could sit in the sun on the balcony until evening, and the bathroom had a window 🤗. The room was very clean, the welcome was warm, and the breakfast was delicious with everything you could wish for. It’s a lovely guesthouse set in nature, pleasantly quiet even with all four rooms occupied. Winterberg is a 30-minute drive away.
