We especially liked being able to start hikes right from the house. There are plenty of routes from Grafschaft, and the setting above Grafschaft at the end of a cul-de-sac is wonderfully quiet, while the town is still easy to reach on foot. My wife and I stayed at the "Romantik Hütte Grafschaft" (Romantic Cabin Grafschaft) in early March 2026 and felt very comfortable. The house has eight beds in total, with two spacious bedrooms with box-spring beds and a room suitable for children. Everything is furnished to a very high standard and well equipped, with every detail considered to make the stay special. It's cozy too. You smell the wood as soon as you enter, which gives it that cabin feeling, and the furniture, bathroom fixtures, and beds are all modern and high quality. Communication with the owner/local contact person was professional and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

We got a very warm, personal welcome, were well looked after, and even saw each other off 🐦. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! We spent a few lovely days here at the beginning of February. The house was in excellent condition and very well equipped, perfect for two small families exploring the Sauerland region.

The location is quiet and nicely tucked away. We had a few calf visitors now and then, and the bakery is very close, though walking up there gives you a bit of early morning exercise. Get up early and there's a fantastic sunrise. The holiday home is stylishly furnished, with lots of cozy wood alongside modern touches. We really liked it.

The house is beautifully furnished, and it makes a great base for hiking. We arrived before the grounds were fully finished, but you can already see how lovely they’re going to be. A new, high-quality place with a lot of care put into it.

We keep coming back to this romantic cabin. By the first day, the everyday stress has already faded away. Thanks for welcoming us so often!
