The sofa had seen better days. You could feel the springs, and that’s a problem when it’s the only seating. The place is very basic and retro, and sometimes felt cold, even icy, despite the many antique gas heaters running on low. It stayed rainy and cold the whole time. The landlords were very nice, but that didn’t solve the issue for me in the morning: I’m severely disabled, and getting up from a futon bed that’s only 10 cm from the floor to the top of the bed was difficult. A note in the description would help, as would a warning for claustrophobes that the hallway and kitchen can only be used one person at a time. Nice enough, but very rustic, and it shouldn’t cost more. MATHIAS
