Schmiedefeld’s lovely surroundings are great for hiking and skiing in both summer and winter. The holiday apartment is beautiful, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the village center, with its small shops and restaurants, and around 15 minutes to the ski slopes. We’d gladly come back.

We’ve stayed with the Engelhardt family 20 times, in summer and winter, and they’ve always given us a very warm welcome. We highly recommend the holiday apartment. The Stamm family from the beautiful town of Torgau on the Elbe River.
