The hospitality made the stay especially good. I was warmly welcomed and felt completely at ease. They even picked me up at the train station, drove me to the event I was attending, then took me back to the station the next day. You can’t take that kind of help for granted. It’s a lovely hotel in a very pretty little town.

I travel to Schneverdingen for work often and have been glad to return to this family-run hotel for several years. The Kouhl family is extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful, and always focused on making guests feel well looked after. The rooms are spacious, tidy, and nicely furnished. Breakfast is generous and delicious, with freshly made scrambled or fried eggs available. When I have free time, the family also gives excellent tips for excursions. THANK YOU!

They were quick to handle requests and did so personally. We also got excellent suggestions for excursions and hikes, and breakfast was very good. It’s a charming, well-run hotel that we’d highly recommend for a stay in the Lüneburg Heath.

I ended my hike on the Heidschnuckenweg trail with two nights at this hotel. The welcome was warm, and I felt comfortable and welcome throughout. My room was bright, spacious, and clean. There’s also a fully equipped guest kitchen, and breakfast was always prepared with care. Hospitality clearly matters here.

This family-run hotel is a little outside the town center, and you can tell they put a lot of heart into running it. We stayed for two nights while hiking the Heidschnuckenweg (Heid Sheep Trail). Breakfast was decent, and they accommodated individual requests.
