The location is absolutely perfect, and we were very comfortable and well looked after. Our room was really lovely and spacious, with a large, new bathroom. The reception staff were super friendly from booking through checkout, always ready to help and going out of their way to accommodate us.

The location is superb, and the newly renovated room was nice. Breakfast was okay, though for the price it could have been better. It’s a pity we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor cafe because of the bees. The idea that they’ll go away if you stay calm is a myth. I don’t understand why the staff aren’t doing anything about it. It seems simple, just put citronella candles on the tables.

We were well placed for the lake and cable car, and parking was easy too. Our room had a lovely side view of the lake, with a great bed and shower. Breakfast was good, though I wished there were more sweet choices. We also had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed it, with plenty of vegetarian options.

Dinner at Hotel Koninggsee was tasty, especially the blueberry cheesecake. The pork knuckle was a little overcooked and burnt. The location is good, but card payments have a €20 minimum.

There are no amenities, but the restaurant serves good food at dinner and has lots of options. The staff were friendly and supportive, and the rooms felt spacious and comfortable. The hotel is close to both the Konigsee boat departure point and the Jenner Bahn cable car, with lake and mountain views around it.
