I can't speak to the hotel itself because I cancelled my booking. The problem was how Tourist Hotel Boehm handled my complaint about its payment policy. The staff gave generic replies and avoided the concern I had raised instead of helping resolve it. They also didn't follow the payment terms in my booking confirmation, then refused to admit the mistake or offer a proper solution. A hotel should follow its booking terms and deal with complaints professionally. My experience was the opposite, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't want to deal with unhelpful staff and unclear policies.

The surroundings are amazing, with lovely paths, scenery and a peaceful feel. The food was great, including local delicacies, and I'd recommend it. The rooms are a good size, but very plain and not modern. Wi-Fi was really poor in our room, possibly because of where it was. It's near Königssee, though for most people the lake is a bit too far to walk to.

The main problem for us was feeling talked down to. Staff seemed friendly at first, but in a few situations some were rude and showed little interest in being helpful. We felt bossed around and disrespected, so despite loving the area, we won't book at

A nice location and a good breakfast. There was no Wi-Fi in one building, and the owner already knew about the issue but hadn't told us. She didn't seem to make any effort to fix it.

The apartment was great, and the mountain view made it even better. It was also really quiet and peaceful around there.
