I worked in construction when I was younger, and the quality of the materials, the workmanship, and the design here really impressed me. I come from modest Finnish origins, where sauna is practically a religion, and this place felt like a little church of well-being. The kitchen has everything needed for complicated cooking, and I can’t remember sleeping better at any point in this decade.

After a long hike, the sauna and relaxation room were the perfect highlight of the day. My wife and I had a wonderful, unforgettable stay. The apartment is furnished with care, and Mrs. Haid is kind and lovely, with a real focus on cleanliness. Lake Königssee and the Jennerbahn cable car are a 20- to 30-minute walk away, and there are plenty of shops nearby. Thank you for your hospitality, Mrs. Haid. We’ll be back.

We felt at home in the Edelweiss apartment from the start. The balcony is lovely for unwinding, with an impressive mountain view, and Schönau is centrally located, with bakeries and restaurants in walking distance. Supermarkets are easy to reach by car. Inside, the apartment is cozy, high quality, and furnished with lots of little details; it had everything we needed. Guests in the building can book the wellness area by the hour for each apartment, for a small extra fee, and it was very relaxing. The hosts are wonderful and always ready to help. It felt like a holiday from the first minute, with a chance to relax in every way. We’ll be back. Best wishes, Martina and Norbert.
