The hosts really made the stay, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even picked us up from the bus station and shared lots of useful information. We had a great time with family and friends. The rooms were bright, comfortable, clean and well kept, and the sports room had table tennis, Fussball and other things to do. Highly recommend!

A great base for setting off on trips through the Bavarian wood.

The Volk family made us feel so welcome again at Gästehaus Haibach. They're wonderful, caring people who always look out for their guests, and the apartment was spacious, clean and lovely. We went on some great hikes, including the Baumwipfelpfad, with Hans Volk leading us. He's a certified guide in the Bavarian Forest National Park. The Active Card is especially useful for families, with free entry to over 100 activities, including amusement parks, pools, toboggan runs, museums and workshops, plus public transport. We had another excellent holiday in the Bavarian Forest, and that's reason enough to come back!
