We really liked the clean, tidy room and bathroom, and even the ground-floor rooms look out over the sea. The hotel has parking right there, with space for motorcycles and bikes, and the beach is just a short walk away. Breakfast was generous and served in the adjacent "Barkasse" restaurant, which seems to be part of the hotel. The dining room there is charming and nicely furnished. The catch for us was getting hot water after breakfast and before 3 p.m. As tea drinkers, we had no way to do that. Staff said it wasn't offered and showed no flexibility. When we asked politely at the "Barkasse," we got an unfriendly reply, which left us wondering how guests are regarded here. The hotel and restaurant, in our view, don't meet their own high standards. The place itself is beautiful and has been renovated with care. Not having kettles in the rooms, and expressly prohibiting personal appliances, is unusual, though perhaps understandable for fire safety reasons.

We had such a relaxing break and will definitely return. What made it especially nice was how cheerful and motivated all the staff were. We were warmly welcomed, the rooms had thoughtful decor with the hotel name and logo embroidered all over, and the beds were comfortable. There was a lovely view too, plus a plentiful, delicious breakfast with quality food.
