The early check-in cost wasn't clear to me. If you arrive before 3:00 PM, make sure the hotel explains that the €10 fee is per hour, not a flat amount. I checked in around 11:00 AM and later found they'd charged €50. I didn't even need the room right away, I only wanted to leave my luggage. I also had trouble getting an invoice. After checking in and noticing I hadn't received one, I went straight back to the front desk. The girl who checked me in asked me to return later. About two hours after that, I was told it was still being prepared and I'd need to wait another 1-2 hours. I went back a third time, and that's when I realized how much the early check-in had cost. A hotel should explain charges clearly before taking payment, so guests don't discover the actual amount afterward. This isn't about the money itself. I hope the relevant authorities look into it, because hotels shouldn't mislead or take advantage of guests. I've traveled regularly around the world, and this is the first hotel I've encountered that felt deceptive. The customer service was truly unprofessional and unfriendly. I would never stay here again.

The rooms are small, the heating is too weak, and the mattress is worn out. It would probably take days to get the room up to the maximum 24°C they've set. Luckily, I don't have to put up with that mattress for long. Also, WiFi is only free if you sign up for their loyalty program. That's fine if they say so in advance, or if there's at least some mobile reception in the room.

My flight was cancelled because of bad weather, so I had to stay here unexpectedly. They charged €455 including breakfast for a room that was extremely small and didn't feel like a 4-star hotel. I couldn't even sit comfortably at the desk. The website listed €130 as an indicative price for other days. When I asked about the high charge, I was told prices had increased because bad weather had raised demand. They required payment at check-in, before I'd even seen the room. At that price, I'd have expected somewhere luxurious and comfortable. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was inadequate, and there was no mobile signal in my interior room, so I couldn't even work in peace. Profiteering and exploitation at their finest. If negative ratings were possible, I'd very generously give this minus infinity.

Update: they finally replied and refunded $28. The hotel is nicely designed, but my early flight followed a cold night in a cold room and a cold shower because the boiler had a problem. The thermostat didn't work either. I understand things go wrong, but after I raised the problem they wouldn't respond or take responsibility. I expected a discount for the inconvenience. A warm bed and hot shower are what you expect from a hotel, and I got neither.
