Moxy Berlin Airport

I travel for work and stay in five or six hotels a month, so the Moxy being part of Marriott is a plus for me. The service standards have been reliable, and the people make the difference. Thanks to the reception team for being so friendly and approachable. A special thank you to the kind gentleman from Punjab who helped with my reservations. I’m sorry I’ve forgotten your name, but your service was excellent. Dankeschoen!! I needed to be near the airport, and this hotel was ideal. There are shuttle buses you can book ahead, as well as bus stops right outside. I stayed three nights in two different queen rooms, both beautifully furnished and modern. They had everything I needed, and I don’t think you can find better value for the price.

The lobby and shared areas have a relaxed, lively feel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed for one night before leaving Berlin and found the room clean, modern and thoughtfully set up for a short visit. The bed was comfortable and everything was practical. It’s a good, easy option before an early flight. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but it does what it promises well, and I’d happily stay again for a short stop in Berlin.

The food was excellent, and the beer was really good too, with fair prices for both. The room was just right, the bed comfortable, and the shower and other facilities were great. On arrival, we were greeted by smiling, happy people who treated us with respect and offered a welcome drink. The price is competitive and feels worth every euro. Moxy Berlin airport is about an 8- or 9-minute drive from Berlin; walking could take around 45 minutes if the weather’s good. I’d recommend it if you want a good hotel for a Berlin trip.

The rooms are solid, and the location works well if the public bus timing lines up. But no one picked up when I called several times on two separate occasions, so arranging the airport shuttle was impossible. That’s a basic service at many airport hotels, and a big drawback when being close to the airport is the main reason to choose this one.
