The rooms were clean and the service was good. I only gave four stars because of the mosquitoes. Even with the windows closed, I woke up after one night with 10 new welts on my body. A bug net for the window would help.

Quiet, great location. The breakfast was adequate, and it’s a good spot to relax and work. I do that for my daughter every single second of my life.

Check-in is all online and worked perfectly. There was some minor renovation and modernization going on, but it didn't bother us. The location is quiet, and real people serve a very nice breakfast. We were lucky to have it on the terrace in the morning sun.

I ended up wishing I'd slept in the car. When I arrived in the evening, I was assigned a room that clearly hadn't been cleaned. After an endless discussion of about 30 minutes with a staff member I could barely hear, they moved me to another room, which was just as unclean. We then had another argument over whether it was clean until I was finally given a third room. The supposed upgrade was a bad joke: instead of a queen-size bed, there were two sagging single beds, and one wasn't even made. That was a step backward, not a fix. At 7:30 the next morning, the noisy cleaning crew woke me rudely, chatting in the hallway as though there were no guests in the building. When I tried to get the situation sorted out, they sent me to a hotline. The employee there was just as hard to understand and curtly told me to submit a written complaint. A miserable stay from start to finish.
