The outdoor grounds are really nicely landscaped, and the rooms are cozy and look great. Wi-Fi can be very hit or miss, though: in some rooms the signal is inconsistent or disappears completely. The menu is very short, with little to choose from. The schnitzel was almost €9 and seemed to be deep-fried.

We had a colleague's 40th birthday party at the mill and would happily pick it again for another celebration. The "Old Bakery" is a lovely party space, and the staff were very friendly. They even told us a little about the mill's history. There were lots of children, but the large outdoor area kept that from being a problem, and the kids got to use the pool too. Wonderful!

Breakfast was plentiful and good, and the owner, who also waited tables, was friendly. The room was okay if you like an 80s feel, and with only two guests it was very quiet. The waitress/owner, though, seemed quite annoyed, as if everything was too much trouble. The food tasted like it had been microwaved and had little flavor. The oven-baked fries were dry and hard.

We celebrated our wedding at this beautifully kept property in a meadow near Görlitz, and were thrilled with how it went. The Lobedann family understood what we needed and flexibly adjusted when our plans changed. The rooms were beautifully furnished to suit the mill's style, and there was plenty of excellent food. Our youngest guests especially loved the alpacas and the pool. The property is a clear recommendation for celebrations and parties, and for an overnight stay when visiting the Görlitz area.
