We’d love to come back in summer when it’s warmer. The location is beautiful, and it’s a quiet hotel that welcomes animals. Our only issues were that the room was cold and the hot water was only warm.

We happened to stop in for lunch with a small group of friends, and the food was great. The restaurant felt cosy and the staff were super nice. From outside it didn’t look especially welcoming, but I’d recommend dropping in if you’re nearby. 💫

We found this family-run B&B about an hour’s drive from Berlin, and the welcome from the hosts felt genuine and heartfelt. They’re very friendly and fluent in English. The homemade German food at the buffets was excellent, and on weekends there’s a BBQ with outdoor dining right by the river. It’s a lovely spot to get away, especially if you enjoy cycling. The paths along the Oder river and through the nature preserve beside the Brodowin organic farms are very well maintained.

The Inn was clean, cozy, beautiful and welcoming, and it exceeded all my expectations. Its spot on the river made it easy to get to and really relaxing to stay in. The photo below shows the sunset view from the river in Patrick and Kate’s backyard. I’d highly recommend staying here, and I hope I can return soon.
